A local man told police that his bag containing $1 million in cash was taken from him by customers during a transaction. According to the man, he was approached by a customer asking to sell Tether cryptocurrency and promised to pay in cash.

The parties agreed to a meeting, but the deal did not go according to plan: as soon as the seller transferred the digital currency to the buyer's account, two men with firearms burst into the premises. At gunpoint, the seller had to hand them the bag containing $1 million.

After the incident, the victim contacted the buyer again. He referred to a miscommunication - allegedly his security service reacted incorrectly to the situation. The buyer promised to return the bag with the money, but after that he stopped getting in touch. The police are now checking all the circumstances of the incident. Open / Comment

Twitch streaming platform co-founder Justin Kahn announced the creation of a new NFT gaming marketplace called Fractal on the Solana blockchain.

Here is the downside of Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT. A user under the nickname Max accidentally put monkey #3547 up for sale for 0.75 ETH ($3,000) despite the fact that NFT was valued at 75 ETH ($300,000).

"How did this happen? I guess it was a loss of concentration. I immediately saw the error when my finger clicked, but the bot sent the transaction with over 8 ETH of gas commission, so it was instantly executed before I could click 'Cancel' and that's how $250,000 went missing," Max says.

This means that the buyer spent 8.75 ETH, or $35,000 on a quick purchase of an NFT monkey.

The new owner listed NFT for 59.99 ETH ($228,404). Open / Comment
