Actually, during my absence the price was patiently waiting for me and yesterday even broke through the resistance of $40900, and thus entered the ascending zone, but the price has not yet broken through the descending resistance, marked in my previous charts. Moreover, there is a strong resistance $42100 above.

On the chart you can see how the MM takes the price in the direction it needs, so we cannot reject the possibility that the price will go lower from the current levels without breaking through the $42100.

However opening short position can be considered only after a sharp and clear absorption of the upward movement, which, by the way, put a local upward vector in the market. That is, only when the support of $39k is broken, it is logical to consider opening short.

Transaction fees on the Ethereum network are dropping again after average fees saw a brief spike on April 5 jumping to $43 per transfer. 12 days later, average ether fees are close to dropping below $10 per transaction.

From mid-March up until the first week of April, Ethereum’s average network fees rose from a low of $5.98 per transfer to $43.41 on April 5, 2022. That’s an increase of 625% but after April 5, the average ether gas fee started to drop once again to much lower levels. Today, April 17, 2022, Ethereum’s average network fee to simply send ETH onchain via layer one (L2), is 0.0034 ETH or $10.32 per transfer.

In the letter, Saylor outlined the company's bitcoin strategy as "Complementary to our analytics software and services business," a way that will enhance the growth of the enterprise customer base.In a panel at the Miami 2022 Bitcoin conference with Ark Invest's CEO Cathie Wood last Thursday, Saylor said he was "More bullish than ever on Bitcoin" and agreed with Wood's prediction that BTC could reach $1M per coin by 2030.

Coin Center has vehemently pushed back the controversial SEC proposal that sought to redefine the definition of “exchange” within the Securities Exchange Act in a bid to “include systems that offer the use of non-firm trading interest and communications protocols to bring together buyers and sellers of securities.” The group deemed the regulator’s move as “unconstitutional.”

The Washington-based non-profit that focuses on cryptocurrency policies, Coin Center, announced filing a comment letter with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). According to the crypto lobby, the proposal by the commission breaches the First Amendment by requiring a license to speak, even for open source developers working behind projects in the ecosystem.
