An outage at network explorer Polygonscan sparked rumors of a possible Polygon blockchain outage, causing concerns among investors. However, the Polygon team clarified that only a few nodes had fallen out of sync, and blockchain production never stopped. A Polygon spokesperson said that the team was working to bring Polygonscan back up and that alternative explorers could be used. The network has previously suffered network outages, with the last occurring on Mar. 11, 2022, due to maintenance required on one of the network's three layers. Polygon Labs announced on Feb. 21 that it was letting go of 20% of its workforce.
