digital asset business license freshly obtained from Bermuda, the platform is all set to provide
compliant trading services starting today, as confirmed by HashKey COO Livio Weng.
The goal? To reach out to a wider audience! HashKey Global offers access to
over 20 cryptocurrencies, including popular stablecoins
like Tether (USDT) and USD Coin (USDC). And that's not all – futures trading is on the horizon for this platform in the first quarter post-launch. While Hong Kong's regulatory framework limits trading options, HashKey is determined to break barriers. Weng estimates that there are
four times as many potential users interested in trading who currently lack access to the regional platform.
By targeting international users (excluding China Mainland, Hong Kong, and the US), HashKey aims to tap into new markets and expand its reach. This move could also help shape regulatory developments back home.
The global platform serves as a sandbox for innovation, allowing HashKey to test new products and features. As Weng puts it, if these offerings
prove successful on a global scale, it could prompt regulators to reconsider their stance on futures trading.
