The other day a curious thing happened.
Accusations from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) flew in the direction of 11 people.They were accused of defrauding investors of
$300 million while promoting the Forsage cryptocurrency pyramid scheme.
The regulator claims that the pyramid was launched in 2020 by Vladimir Okhotnikov, Mikhail Sergeyev, Sergey Maslakov and Jane Doe (aka Lola Ferrari).
The gist of the scam: They were offering retail investors to enter into contracts via Ethereum, Tron and Binance blockchains.
It's fair to say that it wasn't just Russians Four Forsage founders residing in Russia, Georgia, and Indonesia, as well as a group of individuals from the United States, have been indicted.
