Strike wallet based on the Lightning network launched
The popular digital wallet Strike, based on the Lightning Bitcoin network, is launched in Argentina. The company intends to provide an excellent financial service to the country, which faces high inflation and other monetary problems.
Strike founder and CEO Jack Mullers confirmed the news on Twitter, where he wrote that Bitcoin could "bring hope to the people of Argentina. Despite being the third largest economy in Latin America, the country has been struggling with high inflation for years.
The top manager classified the South American nation as one of the "most exciting countries to build a bitcoin-based economy. The launch of Strike will allow Argentinians to have a "stable cash balance that can be spent instantly and without fees.
