Vitalik Buterin asked followers about an alternative to Ethereum
Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin conducted a poll on his Twitter asking about the most popular currency of 2035, excluding the second most capitalized cryptocurrency.
"You wake up in 2035 and 80% of the world's transactions and savings are in one currency, and it's not ETH. What do you think that currency will be?" he wrote.
More than 600,000 people took part in the poll.
Cardano was the winner in the voting (42%), the closest to the leader was bitcoin (38.4%). Solana garnered 13.1% and the U.S. dollar 6.5%.
In the second poll, more than 358 thousand participants chose TRON as the winner (51.3%). Binance Coin (22.8%), NEO (21.8%) and the digital yuan (4.1%) were located behind it in the voting.
