CryptoPunk #635 has been sold for 4,000 ETH worth more than $12 million. Indeed, the uniquely generated non-fungible token has been yet another from the well-known NFT line to be sold for a remarkable sum. Earlier this year, the Cryptopunk project saw multiple NFTs sell for more than $16 million worth of Ethereum. Specifically, in March, two weeks separated the two sales of Punk #3100 and Punk #7084. Now, Punk #635 is the latest CryptoPunk NFT to go for the impressive sum.

This week, NFT revenues fell 25.48% compared to the previous week. Losses affected four of the top five blockchain platforms in NFT transactions. Bitcoin maintained the lead with $111.8 million, though its sales fell by 35.63%, as reported by cryptoslam.io. Ethereum also experienced a decrease, with sales falling 20.38% to $49.58 million. Solana’s sales dropped by 17.13% to $34.82 million, whereas Polygon bucked the trend with a 33.21% increase, bringing in $15.4 million in sales.

Japan’s SBI Group is looking to issue non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on the XRP Ledger during the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. The NFTs will feature the official character of the Expo, “MYAKU-MYAKU,” and will be distributed to millions of visitors attending the event. These NFTs will have no cash value and cannot be bought or sold, but will come with proof of authenticity. Visitors can obtain NFTs by completing missions at the Expo and using the Expo mobile payments app.

Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs may have hit more than a rough patch as the floor price for the once-celebrated collection hit its lowest point since August 2021. As of Monday, the floor price on Bored Ape NFTs sank to 10.9 ether (about $34,000), according to NFT Price Floor data. The NFTs' floor price has not been that low since early August 2021, when it hit 9.5 ether, also according to the NFT data site. Yuga Labs, the creator of the Bored Ape Yacht Club, or BAYC, collection declined to comment.
