2023-01-13 13:57:27 Hello Dtravel Community - We have some exciting updates to share with you this week as well as a behind the scenes look at how we’ve been building Dtravel Direct alongside professional hospitality operators!

HIGHLIGHT 1: PRODUCT
Self-hosted domains are live! Hospitality businesses can now use domains from any third-party domain provider for their Dtravel powered direct booking site. This supports operators with the ability to fully customize URLs to match their branding.

HIGHLIGHT 2: PARTNERSHIPS
The team has met with a fractionalized real-estate project a number of times over the past couple of weeks to discuss partnering on every real estate asset listed in their marketplace. Each asset will be rented as a short-term rental and will require a direct booking site to maximize earnings for its investors.

HIGHLIGHT 3: BTS
We wanted to share a behind the scenes look at how we work with short-term rental business owners to develop and build Dtravel Direct. Since day one, we've worked with professional hosts to build Dtravel Direct, enabling hospitality operators with the ability to create a modern direct booking site without code or recurring monthly fees.

2022 has been an incredible year for Dtravel. We launched Dtravel Direct, our direct booking product for short-term rental operators, onboarded hosts from around the world, participated in accelerator programs, received global media attention, spoke at conferences, won awards and more. With only a few days left in the year, it's time to start getting excited about what we have planned for 2023.

We have ambitious plans for 2023 which will set us up with a strong foundation for a market recovery whenever that happens. With the backing we’ve received from our initial round of funding and ongoing interest in what we’re building, we are in a position to outlast any bear despite today’s gloomy market conditions. We’re here for the very long term and look forward to building with and for you!

2022-12-21 15:25:16 Hello Dtravel Community - Sending through a quick weekly update as we head into the holidays! Last week we spent two intensive days planning for the new year, which ended being an incredibly productive a motivating experience.

Sometimes it’s important to stop and look back at all that we’ve achieved over the past year. That’s why we’re in the process of drafting a EOY Dtravel report, which will highlight significant milestones and achievements as well as what to expect in 2023. Look out for that next week!

HIGHLIGHT 1: PRODUCT
* Our team spent last week improving the UI of the new Landing Pages and Map view state
* Designed is working through finalizing updates to the entire Dtravel Direct product including all stages of the booking engine

HIGHLIGHT 2: PARTNERSHIPS
* Collaborating with Cherry, a chrome extension that shows you a hosts direct booking site when browsing an OTA like Airbnb or Vrbo.

HIGHLIGHT 3: MARKETING
* We took part in the Rent Responsibly Winter Summit, presenting a webinar entitled “How and Why You Should Attract Digital Nomads and Crypto Travellers”. We received a significant amount of interest from professional hosts and property managers.
