For the past 2 weeks we encountered issue affecting completion of the prototype, therefore we were focusing on addressing those issues and getting project to the state that it is playable. We have worked on:
- Updating the art direction for the upcoming multiplayer mode game.
- Work on prototype - work on stability and lag.
- Improve character interaction, and AI used in the game.
- Conclude customisation options for characters.
- Update documents with the upcoming changes.

Next Steps:
- Add updated character interaction, AI to prototype version.
- Expand on the prototype to the functional Alpha version of the game.
- Finish art improvements for specified characters, and abilities.
- Complete all documentation with latest design decisions.

This week we were focusing on finalizing the prototype and updating character interaction system. We have worked on:
- Server backend solution setup.
- Prototype implementation (there are issues regarding testing solution that we are prioritizing to resolve).
- Update control system for character interaction, and add aiming functionality.
- Ability effect visuals update continuation.

Next Steps:
- Fix issues and stabilize multiplayer prototype.
- Complete character interaction solution implementation.
- Start working on AI improvements.
- Finalize multiplayer server setup.

2022-10-05 13:17:08 Monthly Log - October 2022:

Goals for this month focus around the prototype for the Multiplayer mode and improvements:
- Complete prototype and do play session gathering feedback for improvements.
- Based on feedback make modifications to character interaction, map, behaviors, and any other aspects of gameplay that may pop up.
- Improve character interaction implementation.
- Improve AI in game (draft #2), simple not complex AI at this stage.
- Create backend server implementation.
- Work on ability visual effects improvements.
- Work on Abilities implementation improvements, updating how abilities behave in multiplayer mode. (Not final version).

At the end of this month we are aiming improve the prototype, go into production of multiplayer mode and refine aspects that in prototype felt not great. Focusing primarily how interaction with character feels and abilities attached to them.

From business perspective, we are refining our documentations and making necessary improvements. We are also attending networking events.

2022-09-30 20:05:50 Monthly Summary Log - September 2022:

This month goals were:
- Refactoring character implementation on the backend.
- Preparing Networking solution for prototype.
- Have character implementation working in Networking solution, and pass across networking data (move, attack, respond), with all information being reflected on all clients in sync.
- Create Multiplayer Screens to show the screen flow that would be implemented in the game in the upcoming changes.
- Implement simple AI that exists in the game (goes from A-B and attacks anyone in it's path)
- Create 2 teams, and implement system that allows attacking only opposite team
- Create Art Assets for Multiplayer Map that prototype will be updated with at later date.

We have accomplished:
- Character backend implementation refactored.
- Network solution implemented with character interaction working over network.
- Setup testable solution to test multiplayer system.
- Create multiplayer screens showcasing the screen flows.
- Integrate Multiplayer map art assets in game.
- Update game with new exclusive in-game tokens.

We missed that will be completed shortly:
- Add 2 teams to multiplayer (from FFA deathmatch to team play)
- Add AI to prototype integration

We have achieved majority of goals we have set to complete, with remaining tasks to be completed within next week. We will share the visuals, videos and updates soon!

2022-09-28 13:52:17 Following our transition to F2P, we will be making changes to our in game tokens, ECIO and Lakrima. From 30 September, there will be no more in game rewards for Lakrima and ECIO, and instead they will be replaced with new in game currency - more details coming soon. Both ECIO and Lakrima tokens will continue to exist on Blockchain and will be possible to use on site and to withdraw as normal after 30 September.

That means players won't be able to earn more tokens from gameplay but it will be possible to keep withdrawing from the game as long as you still have them in your game account"

This week the team has been finishing multiplayer prototype screens, and integrating individual multiplayer components together. We have worked on:
- Improving abilities and animations of characters in multiplayer
- Integrating abilities, character interaction and attacks in multiplayer system
- Implementation of prototype multiplayer screens (draft #1)
- Finalisation on Game Design Document Update
- Abilities for weapons for multiplayer designs completed

This week the team has been continuing working individual components ready for prototype integration. We have worked on:
- Completed Networking solution preparation for prototype, create server and lobby implementation, and allow clients to connect to lobbies that we use to start multiplayer game. (Separate entity solution)
- Work on Multiplayer screens from concepts created, work is still ongoing for that, as waiting for final art assets to be finished.
- Map improvement designs finalization and started on spritesheet creation for map, ready to be added and implemented after prototype creation.
- Abilities re-design, what should be reworked for multiplayer and what can stay the same. Design potential abilities for missing parts.
- Complete character interaction behaviour (single player mode).
- Integrate multiplayer solution with character interaction.
- Start on simple AI solution for prototype integration

This week the team has been working individual components ready for prototype. We have worked on:
- Refactoring character implementation, and expanding the implementation to allow more freedom movement. (Separate entity solution) - Completed State
- Networking solution preparation for prototype, create server and lobby implementation, and allow clients to connect to lobbies that we use to start multiplayer game. (Separate entity solution) - Completed State
- Work on Multiplayer screens from concepts created, work is still ongoing for that, as waiting for final art assets to be finished.
- Started to work on map design, improving it, and doing designs for buildings that would be used inside the map.
- Start looking at Abilities, what should be reworked for multiplayer and what can stay the same. Design potential abilities for missing parts.

2022-09-02 15:37:36 Monthly Log - September 2022:

Goals for this month include finishing prototype for the Multiplayer mode consisting of:
- Refactoring character implementation on the backend, this is so the solution is cleaner, more reliable and stable. Also, we have to modify it to be prepared for Multiplayer usage.
- Preparing Networking solution for prototype. Prototype goal is to have server build, with clients able to connect to it, 8 clients in total, 4 clients a side. Server build will be on local machine at prototype stage.
- Have character implementation working in Networking solution, and pass across networking data (move, attack, respond), with all information being reflected on all clients in sync.
- Create Multiplayer Screens to show the screen flow that would be implemented in the game in the upcoming changes.
- Implement simple AI that exists in the game (goes from A-B and attacks anyone in it's path)
- Create 2 teams, and implement system that allows attacking only opposite team
- Create Art Assets for Multiplayer Map that prototype will be updated with at later date.

At the end of this, the prototype will be a playable version of the Multiplayer Mode, that we will evaluate at the end of this progress, share with you, the community, and see what works and what we require to change.

We are also planning the abilities for the missing fragments, which will go through few iterations internally this month before being shared with the community.

Apart from prototype creation, we are carrying on with removing blockchain token support from game. Following this, at the end of the month, we will drop support for ECIO token, however Lakrima token will still stay. We will update on this progression soon, if there will be any further changes in advance.

From business perspective, we are finalising the content on the pages, to reflect the upcoming changes in the company and they will be finalised this month.
