We posted this last November but just so you guys have it again, this is EC’s “rug check”. Whenever thinking to invest in a new project always do your own research even if you heard it from a different source, never rely on someone else’s word. Follow these steps to do a self-check. Again, this is not 100% rug proof, but this should give you a much better idea if it’s worth investing in.

1. Is Team doxxed?
2. Contract verified and Auditted?
3. Liquidity pool locked?
4. Teams tokens vested? If so are wallets locked until vesting period then relocated till next payout?
5. Logical distribution of tokens to team, advisors, seed round investors, and other categories relevant to project?
6. Application currently built?
7. Past experiences of team?
8. Pre launch or fair launch?
9. What exchanges is the project on?
10. If transaction fee is present is the fee reasonable and not too much just going directly to creators?
11. Roadmap logical for development of the project?
12. If pre launch likelihood to sell out? If can’t sell out pre sale, likely for tokens to be dumped immediately after.
13. Marketing plan efforts
14. What information is the team sharing with the community?
15. Is the team transparent where the funds are going from the marketing wallets, and team wallets.
