Payments behemoth Visa is exploring auto-payments for Ethereum by creating a new type of wallet—a process the company calls “account abstraction.” Which may one day allow crypto-users to automatically pay their utility bills through their self-custodial crypto wallets. Account abstraction could also allow for new forms of multi-owner accounts and public accounts.
