The result of the most recent governance proposal, 'Increase minimum commission rate to 5%' will be applied to the network via a blockchain network software upgrade.

Upgrading the network requires the temporary suspension of the blockchain and hence the schedule must be prearranged by all FIRMACHAIN validators.

Following are the items that require consensus between validators.

> Schedule chain upgrade
> Make sure the proposal has been fully acknowledged by all validators (i.e. all validators fulfilling their respective roles (whatever the roles may be) in applying the results of the second governance proposal)
> Share next steps of the FIRMACHAIN network

The FIRMACHAIN team and the validators of the network are discussing various technical and other issues via the FIRMACHAIN Discord channel. If there is a validator who is still not part of the FIRMACHAIN Discord channel, please contact at [email protected].

91.94% of votes were casted on the proposal that was open for 7 days. The decision to pass the proposal was unanimous( ).

With the passing of this governance proposal, FIRMACHAIN can now successfully communicate and transfer assets with heterogeneous blockchain networks that are developed on the Cosmos ecosystem.

2022-06-21 11:55:38 Per our previous announcement on FIRMACHAIN’s lock-up release schedule and in regards to the operation of FIRMACHAIN’s mainnet Colosseum, we have updated the expected circulation supply of FCT(FCT2) after adjusting for inflation.

For your information, per our announcement on December 2021, out of a total of 9,766,808 FCT to be released from lock-up, as of now, 4,035,280 FCT has been placed under lock-up again. Therefore, we can see that the total amount to be released from lock-up has actually decreased post-mainnet launch.

Please note that the amount placed under re-lockup has been allocated as testnet reward and mainnet genesis validator reward and will be sequentially released from lock-up starting 2023.
