As of Jan-22 the US was the largest hashrate country. Just behind the US in terms of its share of the global BTC mining was Kazakhstan — fugitives from China made the country a crypto power. Numbers three and four were Canada and Russia , respectively. But since the government shut off the internet in Kazakhstan in Jan-2022 and hiked a crypto mining tax miners are searching for a new home again.
Meantime the partial ban on Russian oil forced local producers to request higher flaring allowance and APG-mining becomes a great niche for crypto farms with a huge potential capacity. Moreover the current BTC #hashrate above 200 EH/s can indicate IMO that the real struggle for the blocks is actually between miners in Russia and the US.

Unknown Wallet Deposits 260,000 Ethereum (ETH) Worth $434 Million on Binance Ahead of Merge.Cryptocurrency whale tracking platform, Whale Alert, has observed the movement of a massive amount of Ethereum (ETH) to Binance, the world’s largest crypto exchange.
According to blockchain data shared by Whale Alert, a total of 260,000 Ethereum were deposited on Binance in the hours leading up to press time.
When the transaction was made, the 260,000 ETH were worth approximately $434.18 million.
