Today we take the first public steps towards sharing Atlantica with you. The front and back end of the UI is currently in development and will incorporate the copious amounts of feedback we took in from you: the community, and our diverse network of traders, artist and developers. This collaborative approach was fundamental in bringing to life our vision of a revolutionary marketplace which could push the utility, trade and wide spread use of NFT technology into the future.

As always, we believe cross-chain platforms are a launch pad to mass adoption and therefore fundamental building blocks. While the beta of Atlantica, release date TBA, will be fantom based, ultimately Atlantica is part of the Multichain pledge we made to you. Crosschain NFT trading is just around the corner.

Changelog:

1. Global Re-entrancy Locks:
The original locks implemented in Compound's code base prevented re-entrancy within a single Money Market (MM), but not re-entracy across multiple MMs. To exploit this, an attacker could deposit in MM1 and continously borrow from MM2 before the operation completed. The Global Re-entrancy Locks prevent this kind of cross market re-entrancy.
2. Corrected Checks-effect-interaction Pattern:
When calling borrow and redeem functions, we will first register the "effect" (ie. the loan taken or collateral withdrawn) before completing the "interaction" (ie. sending the tokens to the user). This fixes the original Compound code which has this logic reversed.
3. Support for Stakeable CTokens:
Stakeable CTokens are unique MMs that allow the collateral to be borrowed against while generating yield for the depositor. Deposited funds gets forwarded into yield generating contracts (ie. staking contracts, etc.) allowing them to borrow and leverage their position. These MMs cannot be borrowed from, only used as collateral to borrow against.
