In Primary and High School, we are introduced to all sorts of subjects: English, Mathematics, Art, Science, History, and so forth. Later on, in College and University these subjects are broken down further and into much greater detail, once we are asked to specialize.

So why aren't we educating people about the world of money, including cryptocurrencies? This kind of education would be useful to not only children, but teenagers and adults too.

Education imparts knowledge to people. It helps them to successfully navigate reality by making better informed decisions. Teaching people about money helps to increase their financial literacy and be more successful in life. As such, teaching people about money, including about crypto, should join the syllabus.

In a way, it's already happening. Major universities offer crypto courses, including Harvard University. It recently added blockchain education to its curriculum, and has a blockchain student community with 200+ members which holds “Crypto 101” discussion on a weekly basis. At the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chairman Gary Gensler is teaching a blockchain course, and there is a Bitcoin club named the MIT Bitcoin Club.

We believe that a financial education (including crypto) should form an integral part of the Primary, Secondary and Tertiary school curriculum, as Finanical Literacy is critical for the next generation to successfully shape the future from the present we now live in.
