The consensus update on NFP for May so far settles towards an improvement in hiring figures. Following a massive disparity in April’s report when the actual numbers have fallen behind expected results threefold. So far, the latest PMI and jobless claims reports show improvement in the US labor market, but the expectations are not set as high as in the previous month with some estimating 645,000 new jobs created.
