Bain & Company Research: Young Players Prepare for the Metaverse

A new study by international consulting firm Bain & Company has found that younger gamers are preparing for the metaverse by spending more time and money on their preferred platforms. According to a study, 13-17-year-olds prefer to spend their time playing video games over other forms of entertainment, including social media. Interestingly, about 50% of young gamers said they would rather attend school events in the metaverse. Moreover, half of the young gamers who took part in the study said they prefer to play with friends online rather than in real life.
