As part of Kyber’s approach of progressive decentralization and our plan to transfer more control to the @KyberDAO, token/reserve listing decisions will be undertaken by KyberDAO members (KNC stakers). This is done in small batches to enable a much more efficient listing process while providing some degree of community oversight and discourse. KLP-1 marks the first time we will make a decision together as one KNC community regarding which new tokens/reserves are approved or rejected!

Kyber's flexible reserve system enables developers to create new reserve models to provide liquidity for a wide range of unique #DeFi use cases. While the AMM is a popular model, it provides only a single rigid template for liquidity provision and shows only a tiny glimpse of DeFi’s full potential. In order to enhance liquidity and capture greater value, it is imperative that the DeFi space can create new liquidity systems catered to different needs, and we believe that Kyber is going to be the cradle for liquidity innovation.

Kyber will be launching a Reserve Innovation Program, with up to $100,000 in total grants for selected projects.
