A KLP (Kyber Listing Proposal) submission will soon be compulsory for every new ERC-20 token or reserve that is to be added to the network. The KyberDAO will vote on whether these new tokens and reserves are approved for listing.

The KLP process will provide a clear agenda for stakeholders to approve new tokens and reserves, allowing a constant polling of the community and governance of the token and reserve listing process. Kyber Network is on a path of progressive decentralization, and KIP-5 forms an important part of our plans to gradually transfer more control to the KyberDAO.

Kyber has a very flexible reserve system which has the ability to aggregate a wide range of on-chain liquidity sources (reserves) and allow providers to contribute liquidity in many different ways. Besides our own APR and FPR reserves, Kyber can also bring liquidity from other external on-chain sources by creating specialized ‘bridge reserves’. We just made several updates to the bridge reserves, which will help bring more liquidity and trading volume to Kyber.
