A stall in the $44 billion purchase of Twitter occurred when Elon Musk asked the current CEO to provide proof that less than 5% of users are bots or spam accounts. Elon himself may have 70% fake followers.

The CEO has refused to show proof and Elon says he can not move forward without proof.

However, on Tuesday the Twitterboard stated that they plan to close the transaction and enforce the merger agreement that Elon made.
