The ENTIRE crypto market was DECIMATED in just 24 hours on Tuesday with around $98BN WIPED OFF prices as of 12:29 ET, according to CoinMarketCap data.

Bitcoin fell by 6% to $29,700 on Tuesday and appeared to drag all other digital coins with it, amid a broader crypto market sell off. Bitcoin has SLUMPED over 50% since an all-time high price of $65,000 in April this year.

The drop in crypto prices followed a MAJOR SELL-OFF on global stock markets, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average having its worst performance since October 2020.

Kazakhstan has seen a huge surge in coal-based Crypto mining after about 90% of China’s bitcoin mining capacity was shut down as of last month.

The central Asian country saw its global share in bitcoin mining jump from 1.4% in September 2019 to 8.2% in April 2021, catapulting it into third place in the worldwide mining power share.

Kazakhstan runs almost entirely on non-renewable energy sources, and last month announced plans to levy a surcharge on crypto mining energy supplies that are expected to come into force early next year.

Jackson Palmer, the co-creator of the popular altcoin, took to Twitter to BLAST cryptocurrency technology and its community.

“Cryptocurrency is like taking the worst parts of today’s capitalist system (eg. corruption, fraud, inequality) and using software to technically limit the use of interventions (eg. audits, regulation, taxation) which serve as protections or safety nets for the average person,” he wrote.

"The cryptocurrency industry leverages a network of shady business connections, bought influencers and pay-for-play media outlets to perpetuate a cult-like “get rich quick” funnel designed to extract new money from the financially desperate and naive."

Dogecoin was meant to be a joke cryptocurrency that skewered the very nature of the industry. But thanks to Elon Musk, the "memecoin" has turned into the type of thing it was making fun of in the first place.

It seems Jackson Palmer is not laughing anymore.

Satoshi Nakamoto, the pseudonym of Bitcoin's anonymous creator, stashed around one million bitcoin in dormant wallets before disappearing in 2012.

Now, that Bitcoin stash is worth over $37 billion.

Whale Alert, which tracks the movement of cryptocurrency transactions on the blockchain, noticed that one dormant wallet that was created just months after the bitcoin itself was created by Satoshi - containing over $26 million worth of crypto now - has been activated after 9.1 years!!

Some are speculating that the could be Nakamoto’s wallet and he is resurfacing, or at least that a Bitcoin hoddler from the "Satoshi era" is now on the move.

Why is this address being activated now? Who does it belong to? We may never know. But it sure is fun to speculate!
