Dear Origors,

Since the launch of our mainnet Medietas on Jan 21st, 2020, developers of Origo have worked relentlessly in stabilizing and updating the codebase and, as a result, we were able to achieve one of the biggest milestones of Origo, open-sourcing our codebase on April 1st, 2020 as notified from the previous announcement.

Since April, developers of Origo have not only worked on continuously stabilizing our main network features such as GPU mining but also have shifted their focus largely towards supporting OGO mainnet token swap requirements from a major exchange. Through continuous communications with the exchange since then, developers of Origo have worked on achieving and meeting various documents on including, but not limited to the areas described in the below medium article.

Dear Origors,

Due to issues associated with the 3rd party’s proxy server connections, we found that some parts of our official website (https://origo.network/) including the Whitepaper and News sections became temporarily inaccessible. We sincerely apologize for the temporary inconvenience.

The proxy server problem has been now resolved and all parts of our official website are accessible again now.

2020-07-02 10:08:49 [ANN] Remaining Ecosystem and Foundation Reserve ERC-20/Mainnet OGO Tokens Were All Burned Successfully

Dear Origors,

As announced previously, from the very beginning of Origo.Network, true decentralization has always been the core mission in an effort to avoid polarization and achieve equality, which are important goals of an open source platform like Origo.Network.

Today, as announced via our medium article titled Brief Introduction of Origo DAO, we are glad to announce that all the Ecosystem and Foundation Reserve ERC-20/Mainnet OGO Tokens were burned as the last step of Origo DAO. We believe it is a step towards decentralization and as a part of “B. Burning Additional OGO Tokens.” As of today, there is 0% locked Ecosystem and Foundation Portion of ERC20/Mainnet OGO after the burn.

As announced on 17 APR 2020 via Medium article titled ‘Brief Introduction of Origo DAO ’(Decentralized Autonomous Organization) https://medium.com/@origonetwork/brief-introduction-of-origo-dao-decentralized-autonomous-organization-7f1e1f55e86c), we are planning to conduct an election for our community manager volunteer.
The below is the summary of the election schedule.

• Application Period : April 24 - 27, 2020
• Candidate Announcement/Voting Period : TBD
• Bounty Award : 100,000 OGO per month.
• Major Responsibilities

a. Maintain the community groups clean from irrelevant messages (spam/inappropriate topics)
b. Build relationships and initiate positive conversations with community members
c. Monitor social mediums
d. Maintain a professional online presence
e. Other duties upon request
