The HUSD Stablecoin lost its peg to the dollar and fell to $0.90 before recovering to $0.98.

HUSD is a centralized stablecoin. HUSD operations are controlled by the Hong Kong-based firm Stable Universal. The venture capital arm of the Huobi exchange invested in this company in 2019.

For what reason the coin lost its dollar parity is unknown. However, the event may be related to Huobi Global's decision to delist 21 trading pairs with HUSD without any explanation. Open / Comment
