Битко Bitcoin led a record influx of institutional money after $6.4 billion was invested in it
According to a new report by CoinShares, more institutional money has already been invested in cryptocurrencies in 2021 than in the whole of 2020. Seven weeks before the end of the year, the inflow of all digital assets by 2021 has already exceeded 2020 by $2.2 billion.
As of Friday, the current indicator of digital asset inflows among cryptocurrency asset managers reached $8.9 billion after 12 weeks of growth.
The report notes that BTC accounts for two-thirds of inflows since the beginning of the year. Ethereum, after a slight lag, has brought in just over $1 billion since the beginning of the year and now accounts for a quarter of the inflow.
