​UK plans to create a global hub of crypto assets

◈ Stablecoins will be included in the regulation and will be recognized as a form of payment;
◈ The government will create a sandbox to test the digital financial market infrastructure. This will allow firms to apply cryptocurrency "innovations".
◈ Explore ways to improve the competitiveness of the UK tax system to encourage further development of the crypto asset market.

The UK Mint is also planning to release NFTs in the summer.

“I am committed to making the UK a global technology hub for crypto assets and the measures we outlined today will help ensure that companies can invest, innovate and scale in this country,” said Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak.
