2023-07-17 18:45:00 The First Decentralized Token Farming Program in TON Ecosystem

The Liquidity Mining Rewards Campaign program on The Open Network (TON), where participants had the opportunity to become a liquidity provider for top DEX tokens on attractive terms, has ended.

However, STON.fi DEX has launched its own farming program for its STON token. It offers unique terms for supplying liquidity to the STON/TON and jUSDT/STON pools.

This is fully decentralized, smart contract farming and the first solution in the TON ecosystem. The STON.fi promotion will run until August 4.

In early June, the first-ever TON Accelerator Demo Day took place, marking the start of a monthly series of events. The primary purpose of this program is to showcase promising projects being built on TON. These innovative ventures have been identified through various channels, including hackathons, meetups, and TON Accelerator submissions. By joining TON Accelerator, these projects will gain access to invaluable mentorship as well as the potential for fundraising opportunities.

During this first event, a total of eight early-stage projects across diverse verticals were featured. All of them shared a common goal: to achieve mass adoption and leverage the power of TON Blockchain. These projects were specifically recognized for their effective utilization of the unique design space provided by TON and Telegram. Each project delivered a short presentation accompanied by a Q&A session.

The first TON DNS auctions started on July 30, 2022, and we kindly ask users to note that the deadline for renewing domain name ownership is fast approaching.

We want to remind you that, unlike traditional centralized domain registrars, TON DNS does not require a conventional renewal fee. Instead, it is enough to demonstrate ‘signs of life’ by sending a minimal amount of Toncoin (TON).

Please carefully read the following instructions: Non-renewed domains will be returned to the TON DNS open auction.

Instructions:

(1) Go to the dns.ton.org website using a regular browser or the decentralized Tonkeeper browser within the wallet interface.
(2) Connect the TON wallet that was used during the auction.
(3) Click on the "My Domains" button to view a list of your domains along with their expiration dates.
(4) If there is less than three months remaining before a domain's ownership expires, we highly recommend renewing it immediately. To do this, click on the respective domain, then select "renew this domain," and confirm the transaction within your wallet.

Please note:

This message only applies to TON DNS owners — short Telegram (t.me) usernames do not need to be renewed.

Since the start of the auction, a total of 27,000 domain names have been registered, involving 6,000,000 Toncoin (which were subsequently burned and removed from circulation). Open / Comment

Electric Capital recently conducted an extensive study analyzing the activity of blockchain developers in various crypto projects over the past year. The findings of this study have now been published in a comprehensive report.

Despite the obvious challenges faced by the industry, which has seen a 22% decline in blockchain developers compared to June last year, TON Ecosystem has displayed remarkable resilient growth. Over the past 12 months alone, the total number of TON developers has surged by 102%, and we now have over 170 specialists working in the ecosystem. It is important to note that this figure only takes into account those developers who are active in the open-source repository on GitHub. The actual number of engineers is approximately 8 times higher.

As a result, TON took 3rd position in the rankings of developer growth over the year, marking a truly outstanding achievement, particularly given the market conditions.
