​​Bitrue exchange has been exploited for roughly $23M worth of assets. The exchange explained that attackers exploited a hot wallet and were able to withdraw assets in $ETH, $SHIB, $QNT, $GALA, $HOT and $MATIC tokens. The stolen tokens represented 5% of Bitrue’s overall funds. Bitrue temporarily suspended all withdrawals and plans to reopen them on April 18th. An exploit involving DeFi protocol Yearn Finance $YFI took place earlier today, causing damages of $11.6M, according to PeckShield. It appears to involve a misconfigured token called yUSDT, a version of $USDT created by Yearn Finance. The exploiter received a mix of stablecoins, including $DAI, $USDC, $BUSD, $TUSD and $USDT. The attack used the Aave V1 protocol in making a large array of swaps but Aave V1 itself wasn't exploited or impacted.
