2022-09-23 17:31:20 Its been awhile since i updated. Been generally just holding and waiting for an opportunity to enter more in the stock market.

Current portfolio consist of

(1) $TSLA - Tesla stock (bullish long term) - i'm ignoring short term volatility. Tesla Model Y might become the world's best selling car > read here

(2) $SPY - S&P500 (have been dca-ing in, will continue to do so but market seems rather bearish but i do think that market sentiments has been factored into the price) - Recent news causing dip > read here

(3) Stablecoin - USDC staking on FTX for 5% APY on yields. Don't really recommend holding too much USDT because of the recent scrutiny on USDT. Both USDT and USDC give same yields on FTX so why not just hold USDC.

(4) Some crypto assets - staked in farms across different decentralized exchange. Can stake ETH on LIDO for 5% yields or BTC on AAVE.

(5) For Singaporeans, can consider SSB (2.75%) & Treasury Bills (3.3%). Read more about Tbills > read here

(6) Holding cash as well in the event market dip massively, can buy in (am holding cash in interactive brokers so can buy in immediately if theres a flash crash. Also because their rates are the lowest)

(7) Also invested in some forex/hedge/vc fund as a form of diversification to the overall portfolio. Open / Comment

Stock split is generally good for companies because it allows users to purchase each stock at a lower price. High price per stock might deter users since each stock would cost a lot more.

However, fundamentally, a stock split does not increase market cap. What it does is increase the number of shares and decreasing the price. That said, stock split is usually deemed as a bullish sign (traditionally). Open / Comment

2022-03-23 13:47:47 $TSLA dca-ed in at around $800 when it dipped. It then went to $700+. Good news, market seems to be having some sort of reversal now and is rallying back. $TLSA is back at above $990. My average price for $TSLA is now at $865. Could have sold at $1,200 and took decent profits but its hard to time in the market. I always believe that time in the market, beats timing the market.

Tesla, in particular, may simply be in the right place at the right time. It’s benefiting from rising investor interest in electric vehicles as the price of oil has surged since Russia invaded Ukraine late last month and is hovering around the highest level in over a decade.

Will continue DCA-ing into $TSLA and some SnP500 Indexes monthly.

Despite prices of CRO going sideways, i’m still earning APR of approximately 60-80%. Has dropped by from initial rates of 180%. But thats alright. Returns are pretty decent staking CRO and USDT (stables) LPs. Open / Comment

2021-12-27 19:00:03 Leveraging in to procure more stocks in my opinion is fine as long as you understand the risk. Rule of thumb for myself is to simply keep leverage at max of 50%.

This means that your position will never be liquidated unless the stock price drop by at least 66%. You can also close your leveraged position if its getting closer to your liquidation price. That said, always do your own research.

Its vastly different compared to leveraging on crypto assets because the volatility is alot higher and chance of liquidation increases as a result. Open / Comment

2021-11-18 06:10:25 Another chain i’m bullish on is CRO (by crypto.com) - Cronos Chain. Crypto.com has been around for some time but they just recently launched mainnet. Why i’m bullish? Tx fees is low and transaction is fast and its metamask compatible (makes adoption easy). They are also marketing aggressively and giving out grants for developers and dapps to build on them.

I feel CRO will be the next Solana when i signalled months ago when it was at $15 and now over $200.
