MetaWeb Ventures has raised $30M for its first fund from NEAR Foundation, Sequoia and others

MetaWeb Ventures has announced the launch of its first fund with total capital commitments of $30M. The fund's investors are NEAR Foundation, Sequoia Capital, Dragonfly Capital, GSR Markets, Octopus Network, SevenX, Mentha Partners, SNZ, Alchemy Pay, Aurora and others. MetaWeb is focused on supporting Web3 developers and researchers. The Fund has been operating in stealth mode over the past few months and has already invested in 33 startups.
