2022-03-05 20:57:22 Attention $sJOE farm depositors. An inefficiency was found in the original farm tied to reinvests, so we've created a new farm that fixes the inefficiency.

We recommend upgrading to the new farm ASAP for better performance going forward.

Migrating is simple:

Head to 'My Farms' and withdraw from current farm
Refresh browser
Deposit into new sJOE farm which will now be only one available to you.

2022-02-26 21:28:05 Calling all Yield Yak JOE single-asset depositors - action required.

As Trader Joe migrates from xJOE to sJOE, we have opened a new sJOE (simply called JOE for now) farm. In order to receive the first batch of sJOE rewards, you must move your funds from the old JOE farm to the new one by Monday February 28.

Here’s how to migrate if you are in the old JOE pool:

Connect your wallet and select ‘My Farms’ in the Farms section and withdraw your JOE from the old pool.
Refresh the page: only the new JOE farm will appear as the old JOE farm is deprecated unless you still have funds there.
Deposit into new JOE farm

The new JOE (aka $sJOE) farm will take its USDC rewards to buy more JOE, so your JOE balance will accumulate and grow with time. Rewards start on Monday which take into account the prior 4 days of rewards . Open / Comment

As we await the final whitelisting from Platypus, we want to share our strategy for launch with the community and why we believe this will deliver the highest possible stablecoin yields to regular users, whilst working harmoniously to support Platypus’ future by perpetually staking significant amounts of PTP.

Here’s an overview:

Stablecoin pools will have no deposit/withdrawal fees

Yield Yak will bootstrap its PTP pool from its own Treasury with 250K PTP over the course of the next 18 months, starting with 25K tokens deposited at launch and adding 12.5K tokens every month, representing over $1M added to the pool at current prices

Users can deposit PTP in exchange for yyPTP which can be staked for double rewards to receive: 10% of the PTP generated from stablecoin pools + 4 YAK per day distributed to yyPTP stakers over the first 14 days

Yield Yak’s Platypus strategies have been audited by CoinFabrik

Defrost Finance has launched new Super Vaults to include certain Yield Yak yield-bearing assets as collateral, so that you can mint Defrost Finance’s USD soft-pegged stablecoin H2O while you earn yield on your deposited asset. It’s a powerful combination to retain yield bearing capabilities while also gaining the ability to borrow.

Up first is Yield Yak AAVE $AVAX and $USDC.e eligible as collateral in their Super Vaults.

Yield Yak is thrilled to announce a first of its kind collaboration for DeFi to launch the innovative yyAVAX token (Yield Yak AVAX), a yield bearing liquid staking token which will unlock staking rewards on the Avalanche P-Chain for yyAVAX holders on the C-Chain.

Geode Finance will provide the trustless liquid staking with dynamic withdrawals via Yield Yak.

Eden Network, core infrastructure tooling specialists on the Ethereum network, will run the yyAVAX validator networks on the P-Chain. In exchange, Eden Network will reward yyAVAX holders with additional yield generated from their operations, further boosting the yyAVAX value vs AVAX.

2022-02-13 17:57:30 Introducing three new farms from our friends at Kassandra DAO currently offering some serious APYs.

Kassandra DAO recently launched their Avalanche Social Index via the $aHYPE token which is currently backed by AVAX, JOE, KACY, QI, XAVA, PNG, and CRA, and actively managed using social data.

The $aHYPE token represents this bucket of Avalanch ecosystem tokens and can be deposited on Yield Yak to compound KACY (Kassandra DAO's governance token) into additional aHYPE.

There are three new Kassandra farms available on Yield Yak for auto-compounding:

aHYPE single-asset farm: deposit aHYPE and compoud KACY rewards into more aHYPE. Currently >200% APY

Pangolin KACY - AVAX LP. Currently >1,500% APY.
