Winklevoss-led cryptocurrency exchange Gemini has reduced its headcount for a second time after it decided to slash 10% of its workforce in the beginning of June amid crypto winter, according to a report by TechCrunch released Monday.

Around 7% of Gemini's over 1K staff were cut off from its companywide Slack channel earlier on Monday due to "extreme cost cutting" in the wake of a widespread downturn in the crypto space, TechCrunch noted, citing a source familiar with the matter.

Crypto exchange BitMEX said it has postponed the listing of its native token BMEX due to unfavorable market conditions. 

When asked about when the coin might eventually be listed on its spot exchange, BitMEX's official Twitter account said: "when conditions are more favourable."
