Dogecoin Co-Founder Claims The Cryptocurrency Is Run By A "Powerful Cartel" Of Wealthy People
Jackson Palmer expressed his dissatisfaction with the cryptocurrency industry on a long Twitter thread, stating that:
“Despite claims of 'decentralization', the cryptocurrency industry is controlled by a powerful cartel of wealthy people who have evolved over time. They included many of the same institutions tied to the existing centralized financial system, which they purportedly intended to replace. "
Palmer believes that cryptocurrency is "right-wing, hypercapitalist technology."
He also added that cryptocurrencies were specifically created to enrich those at the top. Thus, all of this represents the worst system in existence today.
