Elon Musk’s legal team filed another notice on Tuesday to terminate his $44 billion deal to buy Twitter, citing additional reasons. The latest filings come after Twitter’s former head of security, Peiter “Mudge” Zatko, earlier this month alleged “extreme, egregious deficiencies” by the social media company related to privacy, security and content moderation.

On July 8, Musk’s legal team initially filed a notice with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to terminate the Twitter acquisition. Musk’s team alleged that “Twitter has not complied with its contractual obligations.” The letter on behalf of Musk said the Zatko complaint “alleges far-reaching misconduct at Twitter—all of which was disclosed to Twitter’s directors and senior executives, including (CEO) Parag Agrawal—that is likely to have severe consequences for Twitter’s business.”

Antpool, the bitcoin mining pool affiliated with Bitmain, has announced the crypto mining operation will not manage ethereum accounts after The Merge is implemented. The mining pool is asking participating Antpool miners to add their ethereum withdrawal addresses by September 3, in order to receive the accumulated ether collected by Antpool.

On Saturday, August 27, the cryptocurrency mining pool Antpool told customers that it will no longer maintain ETH assets after The Merge. Customers have until September 3 to give an ETH address in order to collect the remaining ether mined by Antpool’s ethereum mining operation. Statistics show there is just over 1,000 terahash per second (TH/s) of hashpower dedicated to the ETH blockchain and Antpool is the tenth largest ETH mining pool in terms of hashrate. The largest ETH mining pool in terms of hashrate is Ethermine.

Cardano has been moving towards the Vasil hard fork for a couple of months now, and with two postponements already, there are concerns about when the upgrade may take place. Founder Charles Hoskinson and IOG, the developer behind Cardano, have been keeping the community updated on bugs and estimated time of delivery.

In the video, Charles Hoskinson revealed a timeline for when the Vasil hard fork will likely be completed in September. Bitcoinist had reported in the past that the hard fork was about halfway there since more than 40% of SPOs have since upgraded to the 1.35.3 node. The end goal to trigger a complete Vasil upgrade is at the 75% mark. Given that there have been no critical bugs found in the latest update, Hoskinson explained that he expects the upgrade to happen sometime in September. The only thing that would put a damper on the plans would be if another critical bug were found.
