The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is worried about increasing crypto frauds and has passed a consumer alert concerning the increase in crypto frauds. The FBI is alerting people with a warning that it has issued. The fraud has increased since December. So, the organization has also alerted banks and investors about the activity, which is more likely to be done with Phoney Bitcoin apps.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has claimed that some crypto investment apps commit fraud by assuring investors to provide investment services, and the institutions and investors are alerted by the body. Two applications named Yibit and Supayos were found guilty by the FBI. Both the apps were active from October, and November 2021, respectively, and the developers made money through them. In 2021, the same case was found where the app owner pretended to be a U.S. financial organization to make money.

Today Uniswap’s head of NFT products, Scott Lewis, posted a tweet stating that Uniswap will be launching NFTs “with full Sudoswap support.” An image attached to the post showed that the Sudoswap integration was already underway, with “pool data already flowing in.”

The protocol announced in June that it had acquired Genie, a market aggregation platform for NFTs. Instead of hosting NFTs on its own platform, Uniswap plans on giving users the ability to access NFTs from multiple marketplaces all from one spot. The Uniswap team said expanding its product offering to NFTs was a “no-brainer,” calling them a “form of value in the growing digital economy.” Moreover, the platform optimizes for gas and only charges 0.5% in fees, which is five times lower than OpenSea’s 2.5% fee rate.

Merchants’ consumer survey found out that 53% of the South African participants have little to no knowledge of cryptocurrencies. Interestingly, almost half of the respondents said they would be more open to the digital asset realm if local banks provided such services.

The Johannesburg-based management company – Merchants – determined that only 14% of South Africans have considerable knowledge of the cryptocurrency industry. 23% of the participants remained neutral, while the vast majority (53%) said they had limited or no understanding of the matter.Unsurprisingly, youngsters are more aware of digital assets than the older generations. Those aged 18 to 24 have better knowledge than any other demographic group.
