According to blockchain security and data analytics company PeckShield, the hacker reimbursed the majority of the funds stolen in the recent attack to the decentralized finance (DeFi) platform CREAM Finance. A total of 5,152.6 ETH ($17.6 million) was returned.

On August 30, CREAM Finance's DeFi protocol came under attack with flash loan. Damage amounted to 462,079,976 AMP and 2804 ETH.
