The Core-1 chain upgrade to v3 was unfortunately unsuccessful.

The chain is halted while the team and validators reconvene and decide next steps forward.

Hence no transactions will be processed in the meanwhile.

Rest assured, as always security of the chain is our top-most priority.
The team is working on finding the errors and should have a wholistic idea of what went wrong soon.

We are gathering all the information available and will circle back as soon as we have more concrete information on a restart time.

Highlights:

8 new active validators joined the Persistence network, helping increase security and support the chain.
An on-chain proposal went live to implement the Persistence Core-1 Chain v3 upgrade.
pSTAKE launched its stkBNB mainnet to introduce BNB liquid staking across BNB Chain DeFi, partnering with top dApps and security firms.
The CosmWasm update was successfully completed on the testnet, inching closer to launch on the mainnet.

Total transactions on the Persistence Chain rose more than 2% over the last 2 weeks, hitting 1.58M+.

Recent key highlights:

Total transactions on the Persistence network reached 1,545,840, marking almost a 10% rise over the last 30 days.
The XPRT/USDC pool (#719) on Osmosis currently offers an APR of ~196% for LPs (including external incentives).
The number of unique delegators on Persistence has risen almost 2% since early July to 20,151.
A proposal by Frens Validator was passed to increase the Persistence network’s active validator set from 75 to 100.
