1. This January inflation in the U.S. made +0.5% (+0.1% to the December increase).
2. The CPI made +6.4% compared to the same span of a year ago.

Bitcoin price reacted with an increase too

$BTC broke through a strong resistance line of $23,000 and reached a seven-month high (since August). Despite this, a correction to 23,000 can happen in the next few days.

The MACD speaks bearish: the lines have risen strongly, crossed, and gone down. The upper Bollinger band began to adjust to the middle one after an acute spike. Subsequently, there may be a retest of 23,000, then a rebound from that level, and after an increase to the 25,000-27,000 marks.

Polygon announced their zkEVM Mainnet Beta launch on March 27th!

"Polygon zkEVM is the first zero-knowledge (ZK) scaling solution that’s fully compatible with Ethereum: all existing smart contracts, developer tools, and wallets work seamlessly." (the official Polygon website)

This means that the blockchain comes closer and closer to being an ultimate Ethereum-compatible network with the ability to handle massive dApps, staying fast, efficient, and cheap.

Furthermore:
- Recently, a crypto landing protocol Clearpool announced the upcoming release of their institutional-grade marketplace for borrowing and lending digital assets. It will go live exclusively on Polygon.
- Last December, Jewel bank declared using Polygon to create a stablecoin backed by their deposits, $JUSD.

- Bollinger bands "clamp down on the price": it indicates that shortly, there may be a rapid movement up or down.
- The MACD is at the bottom, and now the slow moving average has crossed the fast one, which can be seen as a bullish signal.
- ZIL/USD is strongly correlated with $BTC, and now there are no prerequisites for this to change.

Today Zillica revealed creating a new company Roll1ng Thund3rz based on its gaming division. Looks like they are optimizing costs, but they plan on launching a first-person shooter WebWar3 early spring.

SHIB/USD

SHIB is the core token in the Shiba Inu ecosystem. It was created as a meme coin in August 2020 by someone called "Ryoshi," and by today evolved into a complex project with lots of features and a huge community.

Taking the beginning of the year into account, the price of SHIB has been going up most of the time. It peaked at 0.00001551 USD on 02.04 (+91.8% from 01.01).

- Today, the token shows a correction after going outside the upper Bollinger band. MACD notes favorable conditions. In the short term price tends to fall, but it's a regular outcome of the correction.
- However, the new peak of the MACD histogram is smaller than the previous one, which can mean a comfortable position to buy.
- Please note that the USA inflation and Elon Musk's activity may change the market situation. These two factors usually cause tangible changes.
- Also, the Bitcoin factor should be considered: since it went sideways, SHIB can repeat its movement.

In mid-January, Shiba Inu announced the upcoming release of their Layer 2 solution Shibarium which aims to seriously influence the spheres of metaverses and GameFi. Be sure to screen the news and not miss it.
