2023-01-19 00:20:18 As of 1PM January 18, the migration from Nomad CQT (”madCQT”) to fully-backed Wormhole CQT (”WholeCQT”) has successfully completed. A massive thanks to the Covalent community for the ongoing support of this initiative.

To view WholeCQT, one must add the contract address to their wallet. The WholeCQT contract address is 0xBE4C130aaFf02Ee7c723351b7D8C2B6da1D22ebd on Moonbeam.

Staking, Network operation, and rewards continue as normal. If you wish to take any further action now that the migration is complete, such as bridging back your CQT to Ethereum, here are some useful resources:

Finally, following the successful migration, it's worth mentioning what's next for the Covalent Network in the coming months. All of the focus is on the second phase of the Covalent Network, the Refiner. More will be announced closer to the launch date in late Q1 / early Q2. Open / Comment

2023-01-18 18:57:13 The migration from Nomad CQT (”madCQT”) to fully-backed Wormhole CQT (”WholeCQT”) is currently going ahead.

At this time, the Network is paused. We recommend no one interact with the Covalent Network and staking contract during this time.

After the migration is complete, we will no longer support madCQT, and using madCQT is entirely at a user's own risk. Open / Comment

2023-01-18 00:01:49 As part of the recovery effort following the Nomad hack, the migration from Nomad CQT (”madCQT”) to fully-backed Wormhole CQT (”WholeCQT”) is proceeding on Jan 18th, 2023.

If you have madCQT staked with Covalent Network on Moonbeam, there is nothing to do as part of the migration. The work necessary will be completed by the Covalent team. What we do advise, however, is adding the WholeCQT contract address (on Moonbeam) to your wallet in advance. The WholeCQT contract address is: 0xBE4C130aaFf02Ee7c723351b7D8C2B6da1D22ebd

Once the migration is complete, your balance of WholeCQT will equal that of what you had in madCQT.

As a reminder, if you want to avail of the Covalent Recovery Plan do not bridge back your madCQT via Nomad. If you bridge madCQT back, you are no longer eligible for the Covalent Recovery Plan. Only staked madCQT is considered in the migration. If you have unstaked madCQT, there is approximately 9M in staking room to avail of.

Further to our previous announcement on the Covalent Recovery Plan, the migration date from Nomad CQT (”madCQT”) to fully-backed Wormhole CQT (”WholeCQT”) is delayed till on or around Jan 18th, 2023, due to an ongoing audit.

As a reminder, you must stake madCQT in order to follow the Covalent Recovery Plan. There is approximately 9M in staking room still available.

If you want to avail of the Covalent Recovery Plan do not bridge back your madCQT when the Nomad bridge restarts. If you bridge madCQT back, you are no longer eligible for the Covalent Recovery Plan. Only staked madCQT is recovered.

The response to the Covalent Recovery Plan has been overwhelmingly positive. We appreciate your ongoing support.
