French Regulator AMF Sounds Alarm on Unauthorized Crypto Services by BITGET The Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) has raised a red flag against BITGET, warning investors about the platform's
unauthorized digital asset services.
In its latest circular on virtual assets, the AMF included BITGET in its list of
crypto investment providers operating without proper authorization.
The French financial watchdog emphasizes that BITGET has been offering investment products without the mandatory registration as a
digital asset service provider required by the monetary and financial code.
As a result, since November 7, 2023, BITGET has been
blacklisted by the AMF for non-compliance with French regulations.
The AMF is not taking this lightly. It reserves the right to take
legal action to block access to BITGET's website and similar platforms flouting the rules.
Investors are urged to exercise caution and consult the AMF's list of
authorized investment providers to safeguard their interests.
