HPB's technical focus in August was on finalising MainNet V1.0.8.0. This update is mandatory as it makes the network ready for Dynamic Node Ranking, plus Anonymous Payment - coming shortly to HPB Wallet! Node operators should update by the 15 Sep to be sure of continuing block rewards.

Node operators can now claim compensation when the average price of HPB over a month is below $0.15. Nodes must be online, operating and up to date to be eligible.

Multi-chain wallet yiToken will support HRC-20 and HRC-721 NFT assets, as well as DApps deployed on HPB MainNet, as part of a new strategic partnership with HPB.

July was a very busy month for MyTrade and iNFT, both supported by HPB Labs.

The Tech Team completed a performance review of global BOEs, ramped up API capabilities and pushed 3 user-friendliness initiatives closer to completion:

• Anonymous Payment
• Memorable Addresses
• Dynamic Node Mining

Benefits of these include preserving privacy, easy recall and faster node enrolment.

Community survey results were published and 3 new groups launched.

HPB's Council has approved a call for the development of a Telegram Draw Bot using HPB Hardware Random Numbers and taking inspiration from ChouTa and Love Lucky Draw.

Node operators will get a 10% annualised return on the HPB they pledged to participate in Node Plan 9.0, rather than 6%, following a Council vote on 9 July.
