Running a community is hard, and keeping a metaverse server safe is more challenging with all the scams and spam in the blockchain space. Protecting our community in Discord with 67 channels tirelessly every day is the Kawaii Peace Force and our beloved Local Mod team, building a better community for everyone and especially new Kawaiians.

Kawaii team sends out some small monthly gifts for our active members. This February, please accept a gift package of 20 Boost Vouchers, 5 Lucky Clovers, 10 Energizer Snacks, and 20 Fertilizers from MILKY. The gift box is on its way and expected to arrive next week.

Every 2 weeks, Kawaii Islands shares 20% of its Marketplace Revenue with every player who locked KWT in the Revenue Share pool. While locking, the KWT also yields staking APR as well as getting the revenue share.

The 9th Kawaii Seasonal League officially started on January 11th with a new league system decided by the Kawaii community through DAO 6.1. With the main purpose of lowering the effect of fishing orders and distinguishing players in higher ranks, especially Master tiers racers, starting from the 9th league, the number of trophies required from Expert 1 to Master 3 tiers was increased along with the adjustment of fishing orders config.

With several updates continuously released throughout 2022, the core game flow of Kawaii Islands is now completed. 2023 is the time for Kawaii team to focus on expanding and developing more gaming features. Aiming to build a decentralized and community-owned Metaverse, it is necessary to involve the community in every development step.

This time, through the DAO system, the order of 4 main activities in 2023 was voted by our community from January 25th to February 5th. After days of voting, the community’s decision is here at http://bit.ly/3I0zmmX

All staked KWT and LPs, KWT in boost farming and revenue sharing as well as the residence island NFTs value were counted as usual.

Following DAO 7.1 final result, the Kawaii team will start 2023 with Kawaii Fishing Saga development planning and followed by: NFT Fusion, Home Decor system & contest and finally, the Outdoor Island Decoration.
