While preparing for the Festive Season, Kyle is here in the third episode of the Sneak Peek Show to give some hints and hype up our community on the upcoming Christmas event!

Last year, a limited-time Magical Creature - Snow Bunny was introduced. And only the Snowflakes material made from Snow Bunnies’ eggs could craft Merry Christmas-themed decorations, which are required for the Creative Decoration Contest. Take a quick look back, the Decor contest received much love and participated from Kawaiians, created a joyful atmosphere, and bring the Festive spirit to our Kawaii Islands.

2022-12-07 14:05:14 Kawaii DAO 5.2: Preparing for the new DAO Mechanism — Voting Period

Aiming to create a better, more decentralized mechanism for our DAO system, Kawaii team is in the process of building the new Kawaii DAO.

In the new DAO system we are making, anyone with KWT can make a proposal and others can add their voting power to that proposal if they like the idea and think that the proposal is applicable to Kawaiiverse with our community's ultimate benefit in mind. Once reaching 1 million KWT voting power, the DAO proposal will be officially presented to the community and voted on for future application.

In today's episode, let's join hands and discuss the voting period. Once a proposal passed the minimum threshold, it will be presented for the community to vote on. With our old system, the voting period is not fixed and is normally decided by the team. However, with the new system where community members are the main creators of the proposals, we will need to vote on a fixed voting period. Everyone can take advantage of their past experience with the Kawaii DAO or other DAO to select whichever option they feel appropriate.

Option 3: 10 days
Option 4: 15 days

Running a community is hard, keeping a metaverse server safe is harder with all the scams and spams in the blockchain space. Protecting our community in Discord with 67 channels tirelessly everyday is the Kawaii Peace Force and our beloved Local Mod team, building a better community for everyone and especially new Kawaiians.
