MetaSoccer has reached another milestone: the studio behind the game, Champion Games, was selected among over 1,500 startups as investment worthy by Wayra.

Wayra, Telefónica's open innovation initiative, is paving the way for Web3 to allow the company to gradually incorporate blockchain technology in its services.

We couldn’t be more excited about this new connection, which will surely strengthen MetaSoccer’s position as one of the Web3 games forging the future of the industry.

We set an ambitious roadmap for this next quarter and its time to give some update and clarity about how things are going at the moment:

Training and Special Training: Both things are done and we will continue to add new training token deals in the store. Tomorrow the guilds will be able to send training token for the scholars as well. Community will be able to do a bit after.

Scouting & Learning: First DAO voted its done. YS Learning will be removed very soon and the aging will not be active for now. A proper system of learning will be set for the YS in a near future.

Female Players: Done. We have the 3D models of all the players ready to go live. We will coordinate this with the marketing team and we are refining the rules for the tournament/divisions.

Buy MSU with CC: Onboarding is the main focus for the short term and this will be ready during October.

Custodian Wallet: This will go live right after the On-Ramp solution. Refining the best solution in the market.

Mobile Friendly: We have a dedicated team working only on Mobile Friendly as we speak. Focus now is to let users train and play in the mobile with a great user experience. We will release weekly features.

PVP: We have specific team dedicated to PVP matches as well. The algorithm of the matches is already done. Team is refining the format and rules of the tournament so we can go live. This will have a huge impact for the WC marketing campaign.

Live match Interaction: This is the focus of the team right after PVP. We are adding tomorrow more details in the match stats (Player performance, ball possession and etc). All that info will have a big impact in the user interaction

Division system: First interaction will be the PVP tournament that the team is refining for the WC. This will be covered in the context of the PVP and we can focus on that in late Q4.

We will continue to improve the roadmap and give you guys more clarify each month.

Remember when we told you all that we would continue to improve gameplay and rewards structure based on data and our game economy?

Well, I would like to say that...

Starting next tournament we will have an improve in $MSU rewards of 50%, 75% and 100%!

This improvement will come in the Semi-Pro, Pro and Legend tiers by now. As always, we will collect more data and will continue to improve the gameplay and rewards whenever its possible.

Also, we increased the maximum limit to 18 matches by tournament to avoid exploits in the game. And as explained we are keeping an eye on users who try to bend the rules and doesn’t respect one of the foundations stones of soccer: fairplay.

Now you will be able to trade your $MSC for this in game token. But remember, This is not a cryptocurrency or monetary token but an in-game asset that can be used to access different drills, which will greatly improve your players.

As we are getting closer to launch the mobile version, we want to reduce on-chain interactions as much as possible. This way, you can exchange your $MSC for any quantity of the training token, and then you’re free to train and do so off-chain.

With the in game token you will be able to pay for Special drills for all types of training. These drills are divided in two types: Extra results and a focused drill

First of all, would like to give a shoutout for the winners of this week tournament, in special for Meta SuperStars, for being the winner in the Legend Tier after starting with 6 L in a row

its not an easy task and every week is getting more difficult! and for that reason we will do something special for the Legend Tier this week

For this week tournament we will also have some changes in the rules as follows

Cap of 15 matches per team in the tournament with a minimum of 10 matches to be eligible for the rewards
We will have a $3k extra prize this week. $1k in $MSU based on position and $2k in $B2M only for Legend Group.
In case we have more than 1 group in legend this will be divided between groups. The rewards will be 1st - $750 2nd - $500 3rd - $300 4th - $150 5th - $100 6th - $80 7th - $65 8th - $55
We are paying attention in possible exploits in the tournament and we will not send rewards if we consider that a user is taking advantage of that
Guild rewards stays the same as last week

As explained before we will continue to get feedback from our community and based on that and in the data of each tournament we will make improvements.

Now its time for us to improve our squad and get ready for our new weekly tournament sponsored by Bit2Me.
