With the new features coming out of the oven (training and tournament) we will have some special prizes for our genesis edition.

We aim to increase the amount of scholars and guild that will join MetaSoccer as an official partner. For that reason we added some new information in the medium article about how to be a verify guild and also about the reward structure. Link here

To avoid exploits we will add a cap of teams and we will see how things will work for this first week and we will see the rewards for the second tournament.

Many guilds asked us to give them some more time to get the scholars ready and some member of our community also want to have some extra time to get the guild done to enter as an official partner as well.

For that reason we will open the registration bottom on next Tuesday (16th of August) and we will do a small tournament (Beta Test) that will run until Monday (22th of August). We will use this to test if everything is working like a charm

The rewards from the friendly matches will be the same as we have right now until we go live with the beta test version. After we go live with the beta (that will run for just a few days) we will go live with the new rewards system (less $MSC in friendly and tournaments rewards).

And after that we go live with the genesis tournament on the 23rd of August.

But will leave here the TLDR for you all

Tournament starts next week with 30 teams in one group and they have a one week duration. Top 3 in each tier and group get a very good amount in $MSU and $MSC
Users will be able to select a lower or higher tier for the tournament. If needed we will change that for the next one
MetaSoccer will sponsor this tournament with a $2k prize on top of the $MSC and $MSU rewards. And guilds will have an special prizes for each scholar that they have and if they win some tier group. We will have a new feature that will go live in the next days. Training . Now you can improve your players for free in our game. This ofc will cost condition of your player and the outcome will depends on the condition, age and current ability of your players. Soon we will drop an article
Player aging starts with the training
We will have our first DAO this month and we will decide together the changes in the YS features
We released our roadmap for late Q3/Q4 And as you can see is very bullish
The team is working in parallel in three areas: Entry Barrier, Manager and Fun
Entry Barrier: we will work on CC purchase, Custodian wallet and Mobile version. All of that will help us to enter in the Web2 users and go mainstream
Manager: we have the Training, Special Training (Paid with $MSC), the split in the YS scouting and learning (Aging will be active here) and Female players will finally arrive in MetaSoccer
Fun: will add the PVP tournament (around the corner), Live interactions in the game that will make possible to change formations and players between first and second half, and finally our division system with promotions and demotions

As you can see we are working full speed to deliver the best project ever. We have the WC in Nov/Dec and we will be ready for that

And I think that the best way to close this week is with a new release

Tournament system is finally here

With that new addition to the game you as user will have to choose if you want to participate in the weekly tournament or if you want to play friendly matches.

We will have a different rewards system for the friendly matches starting next week as well. Please take a closer look in our article so you can have all the information that you need about this new feature.

Each week corresponds to one edition. Starting every Tuesday at 8 am UTC and ending Monday at 08 am UTC. Rewards will be distributed on Monday after the end of that week’s edition.

Please take in consideration that this is the first version and that we will improve over time based on the community feedback.

You’ll also be able to select a logo for your club. There are several different badges available, and you can even choose its color
