Dear Community,
We are fascinated and thrilled by your initiative and latest DAO proposal. The discussion around @Boioink suggestions is exactly what we are aiming for and we are excited to see your engagement around shaping the project’s future.
We took the decision to not interfere with the proposal and see the pure will of Revault’s community. We strongly believe most of the suggestions raised on the dao-talks channel on our Discord server will eventually be accepted and become part of the protocol.
Having said that, although we agree with most of the suggestions raised on the proposal, we need to clarify some points to make sure our DAO is functioning in the most efficient way:
A proposal should include as few changes as possible. Therefore our last proposal is better to be divided into 3- 4 smaller ones.
A proposal should never refer to another future proposal. Future proposals are never certain, therefore counting on such is wrong and shouldn’t be done.
It is important to understand some changes are easy to implement such as changing the transaction tax or the $REVA reward per stacking pool (as we designed it to be), while other changes not only require us to allocate development resources but also might introduce new risks such hacks and exploits, therefore have the potential to create much more overhead than initially perceived. And so, If the community wants to push a change of this kind they will also have to offer an implementation.
As previously said, we agree with most of the suggestions raised in the community proposal. We will soon explain the difficulties of implementing some of them and propose a new one for the community to see the team's reflection on those points. The rest of them will be implemented as decided by the community.
