It's hard to ignore the huge rising wedge on #BTC chart. This is a well-known bearish pattern and can dump the price significantly.

However, the wedge is "too obvious" for me. I can't really imagine breaking it down and go straightly under $20k. The point is, $24650 - $25200 resistance is really strong and so far bulls didn't manage to break it. Every pullback after the trial is smaller and smaller, the resistance becomes thinner every time.

Blind TA says that #BTC will dump. Common sense tells the opposite. I stay flat, no reason to trade actively while the market is uncertain. Open / Comment

Acala Network became the latest Defi network to suffer an exploit after hackers breached the network and issued 1.2 billion aUSD tokens. The Polkadot-based network issues aUSD as its native stablecoin. aUSD is a decentralized stablecoin.

Although overcollateralized, the dollar-pegged stablecoin lost its peg immediately after the hack, dropping by 99% and now trading at $0.00987. 0xTaylor_ first noticed the attack and tweeted that the hacker exploited a bug in the iBTC/AUSD pool. Updates show that the hacker linked an Ethereum account to Acala, and the address was funded from Binance. Acala network also acknowledged the attack. Open / Comment

Aave Companies has requested $16.6 million in retroactive funding from the Aave DAO for its work in developing Aave v3, according to a governance proposal filed on Wednesday. Aave Companies is the for-profit company behind the Aave DeFi lending protocol.

According to Wednesday’s proposal, the $16.6 million retroactive funding will cover two payments. One part worth $15 million is for incurred work on the part of the team, while the remaining $1.6 million will be to cover smart contract auditing costs. The proposal stated that five different security firms audited the Aave v3 code in two separate auditing rounds.
