2022-06-18 13:13:40 To be honest I don't think that $20k is The Level right now. It was a peak high in 2017, then #BTC interacted with it twice in 2020 - that's all. This is a very old horizontal level that basically means nothing on nowadays chart - it's much weaker than monthly support or WMA200 or some Fibo levels.

However, $20k is still an important psychological level, as a lot of people joined crypto after $20000 breaking in late 2020. For them it may act like a trigger to sell or to go away completely Open / Comment

The past 24 hours brought even more pain to the cryptocurrency market, with bitcoin dumping to a monthly low of just over $27,000. However, the alternative coins suffer even more. ETH, for example, plummeted below $1,500 to the 2018 ATH levels.

After a few brief and unsuccessful attempts to overcome $32,000 last week, the primary cryptocurrency started to lose value gradually. Senators Cynthia Lummis and Kirsten Gillibrand are ready to present a draft bill on crypto regulations to the U.S. senate. According to a report from Politico, this is a first-of-its-kind bill aimed at totally incorporating digital assets into the U.S. financial system.

Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a New York Democrat who joined the project earlier in March, co-authored the bill. This collaboration is seen by many in the crypto industry as a non-partisan action toward crypto regulations. The bill suggests the creation of a self-regulatory institution to be in charge of cryptocurrencies and other digital assets. The lawmakers also hint at absolving Bitcoin miners from laws guiding financial brokerage companies.
