NFT is a "non-fungible token”.

We guess it didn't make things easier to understand So first we define fungible and non-fungible.

“Fungible” refers to something interchangeable with one another, for example, US dollars or Bitcoins. $1 is traded for an equal $1. Both bills represent the same value. one Bitcoin is always equal in value to another Bitcoin. That’s fungibility.

Non-fungible on the other hand is something unique, irreplaceable. Hence there are no equal NFTs, same as there are no two snowflakes alike. Imagine, for example, your favourite car. There are many of the same model, but each of them is unique and irreplaceble.

Russell Simmons, a legendary record executive of Def Jam Records, collaborates with Tokau platform to launch a new NFT collection “Masterminds of Hip Hop" on Bakery Swap (BSC).

The goal is to raise money to give credit, both vocally and financially, to original musicians that helped build the hip-hop industry from the ground up.

The hip-hop origins and development will be visualized by behind-the-scenes stories recounted by each artist. Simmons will be working with Tokau to secure and sign more than a dozen pioneers of hip-hop music and culture. The collection will be separated into two phases, named Pre-Recorded and Early Recording. Each will see upwards of 50 NFTs minted.
