2021-05-04 04:51:37 Coinbase Has Officially Launched Their USDT On Their Platform

Let's see how the markets decide to price this (curiously there was a lot of bearish momentum right after they initially announced that they would allow it on their platform too).

2021-05-04 04:12:21 Wow, was just about to ask if there had been a disbursement of Tether recently and what do you know - https://twitter.com/usdcoinprinter/status/1389372983182077953?s=20

Look at how dishonest CoinGecko is. They refuse to publish that price point as part of Tether's price history for some reason.

They claim that the low for the session is 98 cents. We just saw that it clearly showed 96 cents and not 98 (that's a big difference).

Now, suddenly, the peg is back up to par (hmm).

Let's see if there's going to be a Tether issuance at some point in the near future.

You can see here that the the average fee for a transaction that was confirmed in the last block was 140 sats/byte ; this space keeps quoting 100 sats/byte as if that's anywhere near accurate and it isn't.

Running Down the Math

Average transaction (P2PKH), is at least 160 bytes (one input - one output); that's in a perfect world, which we don't live in, so let's assume an average of about 250 bytes.

If there is a 140 sat/byte fee, then we need to do 140*250 to get 35000 sats. There are eight places after the decimal for Bitcoin, so this is 0.00035000 $BTC ; $BTC = $56.7k*0.00035 = $20 at least, on the average ; a recent transaction this channel sent was 330 bytes, so to even have a remote shot of getting confirmed within a block that's $26 at that point.

Few outlets seem to be capable of displaying this truth to users.

How in the world can these numbers be possible.

If Bitcoin can't actually fix the DAA, then consider the project to be dead or dying.

This is this space's biggest secret, and they keep trying to cover it up to prevent others (especially academics), from actually figuring out that the protocol is being gamed by miners. They can essentially produce blocks at will if they really want to.

Zero reason for there to be a 30+ minute gap between the most recent block and the one that came before it.

There's supposedly 180+ Eh/s on the network at the time of writing, so how is that possible?

Even if an entire mining pool dropped out, there should still be a block that's produced easily within the 10-minute mark. They just produced 11+ blocks in the space of an hour (the target = 6 ; that's nearly double what they're supposed to be producing — that implies a hash rate of 240+ Eh/s, at the very least)

2021-05-04 03:37:18 Bitcoin Mining Difficulty is Completely Broken

Anyone that disagrees is out of their rabid mind.

And the worst part about it is that there's a bunch of paranoia in the West over the 'Chinese' taking over, when every single Western mining company has been inking crazy deals with Chinese mining companies over the past year or so.

DCG's Foundry to Finance Bitmain Customers in North America - https://www.investing.com/news/cryptocurrency-news/dcgs-foundry-to-finance-bitmain-customers-in-north-america-2291285 ; so Digital Currency Group essentially made it impossible to compete with Bitmain in North America (giving them command of essentially the entire blockchain mining space)

1. [American Company] CoreScientific and Bitmain Ink a Huge Deal Together ($129 million) - https://blog.bitmain.com/en/bitmain-facilitates-long-term-partner-core-scientific-becoming-the-largest-miner-hosting-provider-in-north-america-with-over-58000-additional-s19-series-antminers/

2. Bitmain Inked Multiple Massive Deals With Riot Blockchain [American Company] ($138M over top of the money that they gave to Bitmain prior for the original shipment of S19 miners) - https://blog.bitmain.com/en/bitmain-signs-a-milestone-deal-of-42000-antminer-s19j-miners-with-riot-blockchain/

3. Bitmain Inked Deal With Marathon For $170M Worth of Miners [American Company] (once again, over top of the tens of millions that they had spent prior) - https://beincrypto.com/us-firm-marathon-buys-70000-bitcoin-miners-for-170-million/

How can there possibly be a narrative about 'defeating' or 'beating' the Chinese miners when they're both working hand-in-hand?

Don't believe the lies that you're being sold through publications like CoinDesk.

Appears that the GWEI suddenly spiked over the past 2-3 hours or so (this is for rapid transactions btw)

Ethereum fees already climbing back to old territory.

Factoring that in with the increased price of $ETH currently and we're essentially right back where we were a little over a week ago.

Wow.
